Marius waits impatiently while she looks through the paperwork. “Is it all there?”
“You know,” Raven says thoughtfully. “I was a bit of a troublemaker as a boy. If I were still that boy, I’d dunk you in the nearest water trough for rushing me. I’ve gone along with your crazy plans, so now you’ve got to go along with my checking to make sure everything’s here. I know we’re in a hurry to not get caught and all, but I ain’t coming back here any time soon, so I ain’t leaving anything behind. So just wait. Do a little jig or something. Just stop bothering me.
“Or else I’m finding a water trough.”
