“How the fuck did I end up in this stupid argument? Oh. Right. Marius is a jumped-up little punk, Royal or not, and I’d love to try and break my knuckles on his jaw again. Harder, this time.
“Except I really shouldn’t. It’s going to be tricky enough dealing with – things – when we get home, without adding in rank insubordination to a Royal.
“I’d kind of like to let him take control. Not because I don’t want to be Captain. I just want to sit back and laugh when he decides to take the ship somewhere other than Amber. At least then I’d be rid of him.
